As soon as you walk into this place you feel like you are not in Playa, the people are all so beautiful and the place is a gorgeous setting with a relaxed feel on the patio with a nice ocean breeze. We had an amazing server from Finland, I forgot to ask her name but even though the place was full, she was very patient, listened intently and she took her time with us and asked us if we wanted our pastries heated, if we wanted butter or marmelade served with them, if we wanted salsa served with our eggs, what kind of milk we wanted in our cafe, I was really impressed with the way she listened and took great detail of our orders. We ordered a couple of cafes, croissant, corn muffin, eggs benedict and we took a lemon blueberry cake to go (which btw was a huge portion for 2-3 people for 150 pesos is a great deal - it was beautiful and also tasted great, moist and chilled). The eggs benedict were delicious, with a lot of flavor and served with two very rich and creamy sauces, one hollandaise and one green spicy one. The place is 5 stars, the servers are always smiling and greeting you wherever you go, the prices are also appropriate for the quality of the food and service...only one small detail when the bill came they charged us 20 pesos for the butter and jam, maybe as a suggestion they could mention this at the time...
Read moreRUN! Don't walk...to Crisol! It's on Quinta y 58. I've been watching them prepare the space and was getting excited because if the food is half as good as the decor and design, then I would be a happy girl! Yesterday, my dog had dragged me inside but I didn't have my wallet with me , so we came back today. Not only are all the staff, personable and friendly, I know many of them from walking dogs so everyone has their own individual, unique and vibrant personalities. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I had the eggs Benedict and then they asked if they could take my plate away but I just wanted every drop of tbat sauce so they offered to bring me bread to sop it up (not only that, they toasted and buttered the bread anf quickly brought it out to me! All of the pastries look great. I've heard nothing but good things about the food and pastries. I was also told that the shrimp salad is quite good, as well. That will be next for me. I believe they're open for breakfast and then it will be breakfast and lunches and then breakfast lunch and dinner! I think I'm not going to be able to eat for the next 3 days (because I'm so full)! and here I thought I would eat half and bring the other half...

The first time I visited Crisol, I was blown away by the combination of flavors in their food. Since then, I've been coming back almost every day, and I can honestly say that I've never been disappointed. Whether it's the empanadas, tacos, or any of the other delicious dishes on their menu, everything is always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
What I love most about Crisol is the relaxing atmosphere. It's the perfect place to unwind after a busy morning, and the modern decor and sophisticated ambiance make it a great place to meet with friends or colleagues for a meal or a coffee.
