The atmosphere and theme was enjoyable and the outdoor seating was a plus. But the ceviche… the ceviche was deplorable. I ordered the restaurant’s specialty mixed ceviche (with fish, cooked and raw shrimp, and asked for no octopus) which cost close to 300 pesos. What I got was a small really small ceviche with just shrimp. When I asked about the the rest of the ingredients they told me it’s just shrimp. I had to show the menu and say there’s also fish and raw shrimp, and specify again that I only didn’t want the octopus. They brought me back another ceviche with the other ingredients but unfortunately the fish didn’t taste fresh at all and very very fishy. My boyfriend got the tuna tacos and said that although the flavor was good the tuna also didn’t look so fresh and had scum on it. Granted we came on new year’s day so I’m guessing they might have not gotten a fresh batch...

Eating raw seafood(ceviche) in a tropical climate can be a risky affair. The freshness of source, storage and preparation has to be top notch, and we can certainly testify to their high quality and variety of delicious marinades! Very warm and friendly and honest staffs that their boss should be proud of. So glad we got two souvenirs from them. A free newspaper type paper poster of their logo design which will be mounted and laminated and hung in our living room. The other one is a secret. It was initially given to us as they said there is no price for it. They could have easily ripped us off, but they did not. We refused to take it for free so we gave them more tips for it.
