El Sazón Mexicano — Restaurant in Puerto Morelos

Excellent food at very fair prices. It's an open environment, so it get a little uncomfortable on a warm day. But it was well worth putting up with the heat to enjoy this delicious food. We had the Al Pastor tacos, Campechanas Gringas, Alambre Especial, side of guacamole, and Jamaica. We highly recommend the campechanas and Alambre Especial!

The young man serving us was very friendly and provided great service. Even though we speak very little Spanish and he spoke very little English, we were able to communicate well enough to place our order.

Our meal came out to 340 Pesos ($17.28 USD at the current rate of 19.73). I think the restaurant was offering a rate of 16:1, but we paid cash in Pesos.

The gringas was crispy and amazing, likely because it was fried to perfection and on the dripping grease side of food. everything was fresh fresh; lime, homemade habeneros sauce and pico as accompaniments to the meal. I would visit again if I was looking for quick, tasty and good prices lunch or snack. El Sazón Mexicano served me the best enchiladas I have had in Puerto Morelos yesterday!! They gave me a nice complimentary fruit plate, too. I didn’t see my favorite licuado (plátano, chocolate, & avena) on the menu, but they made it special for me. There was so much food and it was all fantastic! I had come here for lunch/dinner a couple times earlier on this trip but that breakfast yesterday was SO GOOD! I just could not wait to get home to tell y’all about it.
