Great Yucatan food in beautiful relaxing garden! We were recommended this place by locals and expats and it surpassed our expectations. Seafood soup was delicious and very fresh just cooked there for us. The soup portion was enough for two and had every possible seafood including huge chunks of lobster. We also got lobster tacos and aguachilies. All dishes were delicious and extemly fresh from the catch of that morning. The service was homey (like coming home to your momma) and read our minds on what we needed prior to us even asking for it. They went out of their way to make our dinner special. We also enjoyed the lovely variety of the plants in the garden. The place was extremely clean and tidy. THE table was scrubbed for us even though it was pretty clean to start with. Highly recommend this spot for an exceptional dining experience at a reasonable price in...
Read moreWe love this place, we came across it a few years ago, while out riding our bikes. It wasn’t open yet and we watched patiently as it was coming together, so glad we found it. On our first visit we met Nellie and had a delightful conversation. She was full of enthusiasm for the food they create and everything is freshly made. Today we were thrilled to take our visiting family there and enjoyed the special of the day, delicious guacamole and totopas, fresh and tasty shrimp tacos and the kids had quesadillas, which they said were the very best they had their entire trip! So if you haven’t been yet, you better go check out this gem, tucked under a wonderful cool palapa, perfect on both a hot and sunny day or in shelter from the rain! Go early as only...

Our party ordered chilaquiles with scrambled egg, a ceviche, and papaya. For drinks a coffee, jamaica, and horchata. The lady who seated us spoke English which was helpful though we can get by with our rudimentary Spanish. Everything was great until we got the check. It wasn't Colonia prices but portside prices. Since the place seemed popular with locals on their lunch break we were a bit stunned to be charged like a US restaurant. Remember to ask prices so you won't be surprised...
