We had dinner here last night. This eatery is fairly new. The ambiance is nice and the music was good, a mixture of American and Latin music.
For drinks, we had Mango Juice ( I didn't like it, it was bland) and Limonade ( was good ). They are not serving alcohol yet as they don't have permit.
The menu is vast. Funny thing is I asked for Tamarindo juice, Diablo Fish Steaks & Mole Poblano. They don't have all 3 of those items.
So we ordered Hawaiana, Alambre con queso from Specialties section. They were similar to omelettes in my opinion but was OK.
I then ordered Pescado Frito ( Fried Fish $220 pesos) because the waiter says they have that available, and it's a big fish. After a long wait it came out and looked burnt. (See the picture) the other side looked even worse. The waiter didn't speak English and I didn't feel like saying anything. I was considering a 2 star ratings but...
Read moreLate review for Jan/Feb 2025. We love this place and whenever in PM it's our go to. First found it on New Year's Day during the pandemic. Two young girls making eggs for hungry, hungover passers by looking for somewhere open. Delicious. Went back for evening food and that was it. Hooked. The Pastor is fabulous and the chilli rellenos so big it almost falls off the plate. Our last visit 21 of us went for valentine's day. The manager and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Almost took over the whole restaurant. The hard working staff deserve a round of applause. Already looking forward to coming back in 2026. So sorry so late review and thanks for looking after us. My adopted Mexican family from Morelia love it here and tell me the Pastor is the best in the area. If your in PM and hungry don't take their word for it, get yourself in...
Read moreI wanted to pick up some tacos to go, so I ordered tacos pastor. The price on the menu says 13 pesos, but was charged 15 each. They are supposed to respect the advertised price, but the waitress didn't seem to care. I understand they may not want to spend the money to print all new menus but at least mark in a sharpie next to it or something that the price is now 15. I wasn't going to fight over 20 pesos, but it's the principal. Also, there was no pineapple on the pastor tacos which is how they are served traditionally. The tacos were not bad, but on principal, I...
