Café Amadeus — Restaurant in Querétaro

I think this place is overrated. Waiting to be seated can take more than 30 minutes and I didn't find the wait worthwhile. Plates are big but not taste is average. I asked for enchiladas and the chicken tasted as just boiled. coffee is not good and the only thing U can commend is the bread. If you order bread and coffee as starters consider before ordering the main dish if you can share better. I went for breakfast, there was a line to be seated, we have to wait ten more minutes to be attended and another five or so, to be served coffee. In front of us there was a line of four people to enter the women bathroom. So, no good...

Arrived early- as soon as they opened. Workers were very nice and attentive. Ordered an American to start which was delicious!

Food ordered: Huevos Oaxaceños and the the Campesino dish. The mole wasn't as flavorful as expected. The Campesino dish was missing flavor too.

German style breakfast in Mexico doesn't mean they can't use some spices 🙈😅.

The sauce they had on the table was not spicy. The only other option was of course salt and pepper.

I wouldn't go back. There are more flavorful breakfasts just up the block. ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯ at least...

I love tres leches cake so much that I figured while in Mexico, why not eat one here?? I did a Google search for where to buy a cake and this location was closer to where I was. I was hesitant at first when I saw the cake with all the extra stuff on top of it. I almost didn't buy it. I'm so glad I bought it!!! I ate everything in less than 5 minutes. I might buy another one before I leave....
