We booked this place twice because it was so good. We did the Taco bar the one night and order off the menu the second night. I preferred the Taco bar my husband preferred order off the menu. Either way the tacos were delicious. We also had them make us a Mayan Coffee. They do an amazing show right at your table. They pour half a cup of coffee and drop a generous scoop of ice cream into it and then put a maraschino cherry on a spoon balanced on the rim. Then pour some tequila in a metal gravy boat looking things and pours the fire back and forth. The coffee is amazing and you don't get buzzed or even taste the tequila. Tonight we went to the Mexican restaurant on site at the Barcelo Maya Riviera. It was elegant and outstanding. Everything from the beautiful dishes to the presentation of each course was welcoming and inviting. We send a special thank you to our wonderful waiter, Oliverio. He was the best. He took the time to ask us if anyone had allergies. He explained the menu and coached us through our choices. The food was delicious. We left feeling like we had experienced warm hospitality and will cherish memories of this evening. They even have greeters as you arrive who are wearing traditional Mexican dress from the region, a type I had never seen before. We loved this restaurant...

Ask for the Taco dinner when booking your dinner at Agave or you won't be able to have the Taco experience.
Taco all you can eat was our 2nd experience at Agave, the 1st time we seat at the normal mexican restaurant which was wonderful as well. Because we stayed 2 weeks, we had the chance to try the Tacos all you can eat.
