Cafe Colonial — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Our expectations were definitely not met at this place. Although the breakfast dishes include coffee, juice and a type of cake, the prices are not justifiable. The omelette with beans looked like prison food and had no taste at all. The waitress confirmed that the dish we wanted could be prepared without meat, but it was then served in its standard setting with meat. When confronting the waitress with this mistake she did not excuse and mentioned that this dish would usually come with ham. We asked for a compensation in the form of another piece of cake which was billed in the end. Our visit ended with an argument and she kicked us out with an angry tone. Not recommendable.

100% mexican. combo breakfast including coffee/tea, cake, juice and a main dish to choose. AMAZING. Sandra runs the best place in town. She's always quick, efficient and smily. Make the small effort of reading the menu in Spanish, is absolutely worth it. An amazing small family restaurant. Coffee, tea or water is complementary to the food. Prices are excellent balanced to value. Everything is well made, tastes delicious and looks amazing.
