Friendly place. Good food. But you cannot be in a rush. The only place that hurry. Hurry hurry is the United States. Period. If you’re pressed for time, pick another place, but from my experience, every place, I’ve been to in the islands or Mexico slow and relax service is normal. Nice gentleman please music, try it out.

LAMENTABLE EXPERIENCIA. Un claro ejemplo de como el mal servicio y la mala actitud de un empleado, hace que el esfuerzo de un negocio por posicionarse, se vaya al caño. El pan está bien, tampoco es ninguna cosa que no hayamos pensado en otro lado, pero estando en Mahahual, con las pocas opciones que hay, se agradece. El chocolate abuelita muy bueno como siempre en todos lados, nos dijeron que no había café aunque en una máquina se veían los granos a rebosar, igual tenían flojera de moler más! La tarde que fuimos, estaban atendiendo, una chica muy amable que parecía su primer día y Don Nefasto, un muchachito con una actitud terrible, con su compañera y con los clientes. No quiero entrar en todos los pequeños detalles, pero salimos con ganas de no volver, todo por una persona con mala actitud.

The cinnamon roll was maybe a bit sweet (but i guess that’s normal in Mexico) and there were a lot of different flavours in the roll (not just cinnamon but also jam, nuts and chocolate). Such a lovely bakery! The sandwiches are super fresh and full of flavor, perfect for a quick lunch or takeaway. I also tried the almond croissant — absolutely delicious, flaky and rich with just the right amount of sweetness. Their cheesecake is also worth mentioning — creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet.
