I wanted to love this spa, but my experience has been consistently disappointing. Every time I try to book an appointment, there are scheduling issues. I message them after booking and either get no response for hours or feel like I’m chasing them down to confirm basic details.

Today was no different — I was scheduled for 1:30 PM, only to be told last-minute to come at 2:00 PM… then asked again to come at 4:00 PM. Constant rescheduling, poor communication, and lack of professionalism make the entire experience uncomfortable.

When I brought up my concerns, instead of taking accountability, I was told about how “everyone loves their service” and how they “have positive reviews,” as if that negates my very real experience.

The truth is: consistently mishandling bookings and making your clients feel disregarded is not good service, no matter how many positive reviews you have. It’s disappointing because this could have been a place I’d love to return to, but after repeated issues, I won’t be coming back.

I sincerely hope they improve how they handle clients...

Incredible Pedicure Experience at Lotus Spa – Worth Traveling For!

My experience at Lotus Spa in Zama, Tulum was beyond exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality of the staff exceeded all expectations. They were able to get us in right away, and from start to finish, it was pure relaxation and top-tier service.

I’ve had many pedicures before, but this was by far the BEST—Ever and Patsy are absolute pros! Their attention to detail, skill, and care made this experience unforgettable. In fact, I would gladly travel from Colorado just to have them work their magic on my feet again!

Beyond the incredible service, the spa itself is a hidden gem in the cutest neighborhood, radiating great vibes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Ever and Patsy even helped me with my Spanish, which I deeply appreciate!

I feel bad leaving a negative review because the staff was really friendly and they accommodated me on short notice but I had a disappointing experience at this salon. I came for a bikini wax and manicure. The wax was applied way too hot, leaving me with mild burns. She also missed several spots.

The manicure from the same woman was also not good. To be fair, I had dip powder that needed removal and my nails were very thin underneath so I didn’t expect perfection but they ended up completely different shapes and lengths.

For what it’s forth, the male manicurist working next to me seemed to have many satisfied regulars coming in. Most of the positive reviews seem to be for him. I would request him for a manicure but I cannot recommend the waxing services based on...
