Wholesome restaurant with good food and nice service, but not suitable for larger groups. We came here as a group of 14 people. The restaurant is cozy, with a welcoming server. We ordered a lot of food and drinks, and since we were so many we expected to wait for the food. They began serving the food one hour later. It was good, but I’ve had better at street food vendors in Tulum. Meanwhile waiting, they also had some trouble serving the drinks. Outside the restaurant a grill was pouring a lot of smoke into the restaurant, which bothered several people in the group. Also, the lack of ac made it a hot experience - luckily we were there at night.
The restaurant only takes cash, which we luckily had enough of. But not enough to tip as much as we wanted. It is a long way to the nearest atm.
Our experience was most likely impacted by us being a large group, arriving unannounced. They handled it well, given their small kitchen and few employees. Definitely a place to visit if you are much...
Read moreAbsolutely love this place. Locally owned by a man named Chencho and is open almost all day. They dedicate themselves on healthy food and juices. The place is always amazingly clean and the people there have such an amazing charisma. When we stayed out there I would go eat breakfast here almost every morning. The burritos were super filling and exact portion size even though it doesn't visually look huge. The quesadillas were amazing, everything honestly had a great taste to it. They even went above and beyond for my birthday by helping us get a cake delivered there while we were out during an excursion. Honestly hearing his back story and how proud he is of having that place makes you realize why that place is so successful. Never overly packed, always just the right amount of people. I would HIGHLY recommend you come here if only just to listen to the cooks speak Mayan while they're making your food. Awesome experience thank you for making our trip...
Read moreI came here because they had 4,9 stars.
Very weird these days hack g that rating.
As soon as you get to the place is like feeling at home.
No jokes, I have eaten in many places in Mexico, including CDMX. I paid high prices in places that were more cool or fancy… but… this places TOP NOTCH.
Imagine your mom making your favourite food. That’s how they cook and treat you in this place. I got a mango Juice and I had to repeat! Natural juices made with a lot of love.
I ordered the octopus, fajitas and burrito… I couldn’t tell you which one was best. Don’t expect a Star Michelin meal, but expect love, good ingredients and a great vibe.
Best food in Tulum!!
Thank you family for the great experience.
