El Pescador — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Service is excellent! Food is good. We liked almost everything we tried. Lobster, surf n turf, quesadillas, carrot coconut soup, sword fish, were amongst the best things. The only things we didn't like we're the shrimp from the buffet & the shrimp from the menu. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. The Grouper from the menu also was pretty tasteless. Other than that, they make up for these few items w the wait staff's kind demeanor & attentiveness. Every waiter we had went above and beyond for us. Drinks & food all included except the lobster. Excellent restaurant. Staff very friendly. They were able to accommodate multiple requests and orders in a very particular way. Luis Leos, the waiter, was the best, absolute star. He recommended the "Midori Sour" drink (sweet cantaloupe licor, lime juice, and sour mix soda). Since I'm into sweet drinks (I.e. Pina colada, Margaritas, Moscato wine, etc), I really liked it. I thought this would be my least favorite of the restaurants at the property but was pleasantly surprised. Again the steak was cooked to the temperature I ordered and they even made my picky eater some buttered noodles and steak. During the day this is the pool top buffet, I say skip that upgrade to Royal level and eat lunch at that restaurant. But definitely eat here for dinner at least one...
