Lupita Steakhouse — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We ate here twice for dinner during a 6 night stay. Day one was amazing, as the properties head chef Hector walked us in himself, introduced us to the restaurant’s head chef Miguel and our server Jamie and then designed a menu on the fly to meet my wife’s allergy and food preferences. We had amazing empanadas, a poblano soup, rib eye, some sort of custom topped potato dish, a mojito and chocolate coulant. Everything was amazing. I was a little under the weather from too much sun during the day and was heartbroken that I didn’t bring a bigger appetite with me for that meal. Our second night dining here we ordered off the menu. Our server was Jibram. We had the empanadas again, i had a lovely mozzarella salad and we ordered the ribeye again. The Ribeye was prepared a little differently the second night, and was still wonderful. We also ordered the chocolate coulant with gianduja ice cream and a double chocolate brownie. A wonderful place for dinner! We had dinner here twice - once for Mexican night and once for our romantic dinner. Both times were excellent. The atmosphere feels high end and romantic, and the staff were all very welcoming and sweet. If you have to wait, Lupita lounge is just outside for you to grab a drink and chill before they come find you.

We enjoyed all the food that we tried, especially the tostadas and all the variety of meats they had to offer. Perhaps next time we will try their regular menu too, I'm sure it's...
