CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! Things were great until they weren't. The food was excellent. The massages were also very good, and you definitely cant beat the price. There are a small set of stairs that lead directly into the water and its fairly clean. Here's the downside. We were completely ripped off by our server in multiple ways. First he charged one price then charged my credit card a higher amount. When I asked him why he said its 8% charge on the card. When I did the math it was still not adding up. THEN when I got back and figured what we actually recieved compared to the menu price the amount was also significantly higher then it should have been. When I asked for the reciept copy of course he couldnt "find" the reciept. We demanded our money back. When we were leaving he threw the reciept at my husband. Customers beware. Margaritas House made our first day in Mahahual an incredible one. One of the only ones in town that offer food and drinks all day, as opposed to the rest that closes around 5-6 pm.

We took a snorkling tour with Octopus Tours, who are part of Margaritas. Great price, professional guide and an absolutely amazing time out on the sea. We got given a free margarita on the house after this, which totally completed the experience

After being served delicious food all day, we topped off our day at PARADISE MASSAGES, where Iztayana (AKA Paty) and Zoe provided us with a full-body massage - 60 minutes for 400 MXN. They do it with love, energy, passion and professionalism.

Food and drinks were fine. The bill was 59 USD. The waiter said 15 pesos / dollar. So the total amount was 885 pesos. I paid with Visa and didn't look good at the amount on the machine. Later in the hotel room I saw that I paid 1239 pesos. I immediality went back to the restaurant and then the waiter said it was 20 pesos / dollar and 5% extra for the use of a credit card.
