Everything about this place was simply magnificent. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning seaside location—breathtaking views of the ocean, soft ambient lighting, and a romantic atmosphere that made the evening feel magical.

The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, but the salmon tartare with avocado truly stole the show — it was absolutely out of this world. Fresh, balanced, and bursting with taste.

The service was impeccable: attentive, kind, and professional throughout the night. The background music added the perfect touch without ever being intrusive, complementing the serene and elegant vibe.

Beautiful spot on the beach for either lunch, dinner, or for relaxing on their sun loungers.

This part of the beach had less seaweed and was less stinky so we preferred it.

You're looking at 500mxn pesos per person for the use of their sun loungers (and much needed shade) which includes towels, sun block, mosquito repellent, and their showers. You either need to spend 500 by ordering food and drinks (easily done) or by the end of your stay pay it directly.

We spent two days there and ate and drank our way to the use of their gorgeous beach spot.

My wife and I stayed at El Corazón boutique hotel for 5 days at the beginning of Dec 2023. Our days were spent at Mawimbi enjoying a beautiful piece of paradise on the Caribbean sea. Special shout out too: Elliott Christian Moses Ivan Berto You guys really took care of us. We loved the food, service, clean washrooms, outdoor shower and the amazing simplicity paired with attention to small detail that makes Mawimbi such a unique and attractive beachfront hotel and restaurant.
