This beach bar seemed promising at first, with a nice atmosphere and good food, but the service was, unfortunately, the worst I've experienced. We waited over 45 minutes for anyone to even take our order, and they didn't provide drinks in advance to help pass the time. When the food finally arrived, two of my friends had ordered the same burger—one came with fries, the other without. Instead of correcting the mistake by adding fries, the server actually removed them from the plate that had them!!
To make things worse, one person in our group never even received her order. After waiting an hour and asking about it, the staff simply said, "Oh, right! I forgot to tell you we ran out of that." Read moreCapitán Capitán is at Playa Holbox on Isla Holbox . There is LOTS of beach club competition. Make sure you give her some love through applause ... and a little something in her tip...

The margarita was nicely spiced, and their was good balance in the alcohol. But the tacos...next level. The beef tacos were packed with strips of steak, and the sautéed prawn tacos were delicately prepared. Only thing that could have improved the tacos was a really spicy sauce. But thats only picking on things (and my personal preference). Give this place a go. The kids loved it too, and the swing on the beach...
