Dined here on our last evening in San Miguel, and it exceeded our expectations on almost every level! It’s a fabulous rooftop, where you can enjoy the sunset on one side, and watch the bellringer operate the Parroquia bell tower on the other side! The service was excellent, and the food divine. My hubby had the ribeye, which was definitely the weak point in the experience. I had the salmon, which is covered in crispy black sesame seeds. We shared the asparagus, and key lime pie for dessert - both of which are AMAZING! We are from the Midwest in the USA, so we are accustomed to the best beef available anywhere, so perhaps should have known better than to order a steak, which was unremarkable. However, our other choices were beyond expectations. I highly recommend the salmon - amazingly delicious, and the asparagus side dish complimented it perfectly. I could have eaten the asparagus as my main dish, it was so good. I also HIGHLY recommend the key lime pie - even though you won’t be hungry after your huge meal, this dessert is an experience you won’t want to miss! Have your camera ready, set on video, when the waiter brings it out - believe me, you’ll thank me for this tip! When we return, we will bypass the beef and pork options, and go for their other fusion specialties....

Our lunch at Atrio, perched on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of the cathedral, was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The standout of the day was not just the exquisite food but the impeccable service led by our wonderful waiter, Angel, whose genuine recommendations elevated our dining adventure. We decided on two of their renowned taco dishes: the soft shell crab tacos with their delectable aioli sauce and the Peking duck tacos accompanied by a sweet nuoc cham sauce. Both dishes were a tantalizing explosion of flavors that perfectly married the diverse ingredients, showcasing the culinary finesse of their kitchen. We also ordered the fabulous rice artichoke, beautifully prepared in their Josper charcoal oven, which added an exceptional depth of smoky flavor to this already zesty dish. Usually, I'd single out one standout dish, but I find it impossible this time as each plate was equally fantastic. Without a doubt, Atrio is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking not just a meal but an unforgettable dining experience. From the panoramic rooftop view to the exceptional service and the outstandingly delicious dishes, Atrio exceeds expectations in...

So many beautiful restaurants in san miguel.and the location and the view is outstanding.. but.. the service was cordial and professional it was fine.. but not outstanding..and the food was lackluster.. some of the dishes came out cold/ lukewarm and i dont know if this is a prep = thing or a waitstaff issue.. duck tacos were great .. mizuna / crab salad was good not stellar. The "signature " red snapper ..was not hot and was fried till it was dead.. not hot. Not crunchy as a "tempura" style fish was supposed to be.. the steak was ok sauce (gorganzola?) Nice but the dish was cold.. my husband and i shared everything (maybe that threw them off tempo) and we had multiple courses and multiple wines.. it was our wedding Anniversary which i mentioned at the time of the reservation and not a mentioned or "happy anniversary " greeting .. for us as SMA locals we liked it but diddnt love it and for the price. Diddnt think it was amazing.. maybe next time..it will be better and we will probably take an out of town guest. Because of the spectacular location.. but im underwhelmed at the...

The food at Atrio is definitely good, but they missed the mark on several items. Had their prices not been so outrageous I would likely have forgiven their shortcomings. First was Peking duck tacos that were the star of the show. They were flavorful and delicious. After, we had the foie gras and caramel that was not described as a pate so we were surprised when it arrived. It was good, not great, and mine had a corner missing of the otherwise perfect rectangle. Something happened to this overpriced morsel and it was still served. Portion size is also tiny. My wife had the ramen and it was indeed good, but I have had better. I had the Delmonico with truffle and morel. My quibble is that it did not appear to be 200g and, if it was, the potato puree was no more than a spoonful smeared on the plate for presentation. Portion size was wholely inadequate for the price. The Camembert cheese cake and decaffeinated cappuccino, necessary to secure some volume, were very good. Service was very good from our primary waiter Misael while the others were rather dour. I'd return though with lower expectations.
