After an arduous walk up a long hill to see an amazing view of San Miguel de Allende, Barra de Café doce19 was there with a very tasty, refreshing smoothie. I choose 3 fruits for my smoothie mango, coconut and pineapple. As a former smoothie shop owner I was very impressed with the smoothie they made. The only flaw in the entire operation was the regular sized straw, but because it was so hot outside the smoothie melted quickly and it wasn’t an issue after a few minutes.

Stopped by for a delicious Chai Latte but nowhere to sit. One adult size table and one kids table… really? (Look at the pics) Cost them business $$. We ordered drink and left without getting any food. Get a couple new table and chairs. Located across Mirador. Might come back if they make cafe more welcoming to sit and visit. Cute place.

5 Stars Such a cozy and charming spot! Doce19 • Barra de Café is super easy to find, just a short walk from El Mirador. Their coffee is fantastic, and they also offer a nice variety of other drinks and small plates, all thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy a break.

San Miguel de Allende is a wonderful town, and this friendly coffee shop is one of the many reasons why. We stumbled upon it one morning as we walked out of our condo we rented for a few days. A young family owns the store (they also sell t-shirts and graphic design services). The coffee and other drinks are hot and delicious, and as an added bonus, the family speaks excellent English. This is a great little spot. EXTRA: it’s very close to El Mirador, which offers excellent views...

Great spot for your cup of Joe or favorite specialty drink. My wife and I usually order café latte's but decided to explore a bit and try the iced mocha.
