I just had the most amazing experience at this spot right in the heart of Valladolid. It's a family-owned joint serving up some real-deal Oaxacan goodness that'll knock your socks off!
First things first, the food here is the real deal. We went all-out and ordered pretty much everything on the menu (well, almost everything). And you know what? No regrets! Each dish was a flavor-packed adventure, and those tostadas de chapulines? Freakin' awesome! Don't knock it till you try it!
But here's the best part – the service. Ivan, the owner, is a legend. Super friendly and attentive, he made us feel right at home. We even got a complimentary round of mezcal at the end of our meal, straight from Ivan's own artisanal mezcal business. Cheers to that!
Oh, and calling all fellow parents out there – this place is totally kid-friendly! So, no worries if you're traveling with the little ones.
I can't stress this enough – if you find yourself in Valladolid, you gotta hit up this joint. It's the real deal, and I'm already counting down the days till I can go back for another feast. This place is...

And let's talk about the owner – a Mezcal entrepreneur who's not just passionate about Mezcal but also about making sure you have a fantastic dining experience. The service is top-notch, and the Mezcal selection is on point!

Read moreI concur with all the other reviews, this place is a hidden gem. We love it so much we came back. The food was amazing. We probably tried nearly the whole menu and everything was full of flavors and presentation of the dishes was really enticing. The owner is from Oaxaca so the dishes are from there. Service was lovely both from the waiter and the owner. The owner's family Mezcal was a nice end to the dinner. And best of all, prices are really really good.
Overall one of our best surprises in the region, and a spot that has so much potential that I wouldn't be surprised to see it being packed all the time in the future. I would recommend it to everyone passing...
