Nestled in the vibrant heart of Chisinau, Andy's is not merely a restaurant; it is an experience—a culinary journey through Moldova’s gastronomic heritage, juxtaposed with European finesse. As I crossed the threshold into this esteemed establishment, I was immediately enveloped by an aura of refined elegance. The décor is a tasteful blend of modern chic and rustic Moldovan charm, with artisanal touches that pay homage to the country’s rich history. The service at Andy's is nothing short of impeccable. The staff exhibits a near-telepathic attentiveness, striking the elusive balance between warmth and professionalism. Every interaction felt like a dance, choreographed to make one feel both attended to and left to savor the experience. The menu is a veritable symphony of flavors, artfully combining the robust, earthy essence of Moldovan ingredients with an array of inventive culinary techniques. I began with the house-recommended Sarmale, the quintessential Moldovan dish, elevated to new heights with its delicate rice and meat filling, swaddled in cabbage leaves so tender they nearly melted upon contact with the palate. Each bite was an ode to tradition, underscored by subtle nuances that spoke of the chef's boldness in reinterpretation. For the main course, I dared to explore their signature Placinte, a Moldovan pastry with a twist. Baked to a perfect golden hue, it arrived with a side of crème fraîche so indulgent that I am convinced it must have been churned from mythical sources. The flavors danced upon my tongue, a tantalizing blend of savory and creamy that left me, uncharacteristically, at a loss for words. The dessert, an ambitious deconstructed Babe Neagra, was a crescendo of sweetness, capturing the essence of Moldovan soul while demonstrating a playfulness with textures that I found exhilarating. It was as if the chef sought to remind us that while we are firmly planted in the present, we are never far from the traditions of the past. In short, Andy's is a revelation. It is a love letter to Chisinau, a gastronomic treasure that invites you to sit back, take a deep breath, and indulge in the flavors, textures, and atmosphere of a Moldova you never knew existed.

Andy's Pizza Restaurant has many branches, over 42, in Moldova, as it is known for its casual atmosphere and prompt food service. It's also known for offering good quality food and service is provided at affordable prices. The food ingredients and supply chain system appear to be well controlled by the top management, who aim to standardise the quality, especially each food dish, of each outlet. However, the restaurant business isn't just about food, it's also about service. The staff on the floor seemed blunt and dull, even as if they were trying to minimise the task. Worst of all, there was a terrible smell in the toilet. Assuming that this was a very popular place with lots of customers coming in all the time, there could be little time to maintain the quality of the bathroom. Even so, it was clear that they hadn't cleaned up since Monday night, given the manual checking process was being ignored. It's not easy for the management to keep every member of the local team motivated until the very end, but as the top runners in Moldova, they are expected to have even more potential in the food service business. Because every dish was served quickly and the quality was good. # Chisinau # Chișinău # Moldova

Enjoyed eating and drinking at this Andy’s. Pretty good food and good prices, I loved my first ever Chișinău brand beer and very inexpensive here. The cream of chicken soup with mushrooms in the fantastic bread bowl was delicious and nice on a cold and rainy night. Seemed like everyone was ordering that soup… understandable, it’s yummy. Also the basket with potatoes done three ways was good, we liked the “Bile de Cartofi” (get over the English meaning of bile, obviously it is not that). The “Mexican” soup was actually not Mexican at all, quite simply it is very USA/Texas style chili (with ground beef) but quite thin/a bit watery (my Mom made it thin that way). That chili would not win any contest but my wife liked it a lot. This was a vibrant and fun place. Our waiter spoke great English, helpful and nice. It’s nice to see people smiling and enjoying their night out. We love Moldova.

The food is disgusting and its really slow. Sure! Here's a full, bad restaurant review written as a single flowing text:

I went to this restaurant expecting a decent meal, but the entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. First, we had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Once we were finally seated, it took another 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge us, and when they did, they acted like we were bothering them just by being there. The menu looked okay, but when the food arrived, it was a total disappointment. My pasta was soggy and drowning in oil, and my friend’s burger was overcooked and dry. We also found a hair in one of the side dishes, which completely ruined our appetite. The drinks were watered down and tasted like they had been sitting around all day. The atmosphere didn’t help either—dim lighting, sticky tables, and a weird smell coming from the kitchen area. To top it off, the bathroom was filthy and out of toilet paper. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told they were "too busy." Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It was awful and bad Never come to this pizza place ever. Choose an andys from...
