My girlfriend and I visited budva in May for her birthday and a relaxing holiday. There was a lot of competition for where we were going to have her birthday meal but we settled on Jadran because a few nights earlier a friendly waiter (Rade) pointed us in the direction of a local bar which we loved and the atmosphere of Jadran stood out from the other restaurants nearby. We decided to book in a table that evening as there was a live band playing folky Balkan music and the food looked great. The owner sits out front with his family and he exuded a warmth and gravitas which reassured us as customers that they were serious about providing brilliant customer service. The restaurant has a large numbers of covers and everyone works hard and professionally, it's a well oiled machine and the service is excellent. Rade was our waiter that night and he suggested an excellent Serbian white wine which paired well with our chosen dishes (seafood spaghetti & shrimp - sides were included, a delicious spinach and potato cooked with garlic). The tiramisu was a lovely suprise with a sparkler and the band playing happy birthday. The owner even came over and wished my girlfriend a happy birthday. We were so touched by the experience. Both of us have a combined 10 years experience working in hospitality and we hope to have our own place someday. We will never forget how important the little things Jadran staff added to make an unforgettable night for us both. Inspired and impressed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was a special day

Was hesitant after reading some reviews but this place was so worth it! We got a younger waiter and he was friendly and his service was amazing! They pour the water for you. They pour your soup for you right in front of you. They provide a free bread with a little cheese dip + olive. This was the first restaurant the waiter actually asked us how our food was (rarely happens in the Balkans). Such a wonderful atmosphere. Although we couldn’t get a seat right by the shore, it was still awesome. Highly recommend the seafood spaghetti and fish soup!! One negative is the cost of the water (we saw it as 2€ on the menu but we were charged 4.50€ per bottle… crazy! Would’ve been cheaper to get a beer lol). The food is a bit pricier than usual but for good reason - portions and presentation were amazing. We even got a great to-go box with a bag becuase we couldn’t finish all the food! Highly recommend. We sat down around 7:30PM on a Sunday and got seated right away before it got super busy.

My friends like this place as they know it for several years. This time there was something everyone was disappointed. The guys preforming here are amazing! I liked the music and songs’ choices! Prices are okay ✅ But the waiter… Three of us work in restaurant business on different position, but all of us understand the basis of the service rules. He ignore us all the time, he don’t speak to us, he was just taking order even ignoring our comments (like add extra sauce for example). He didn’t change our ashtray, didn’t take dirty plates, we cleaned out table by ourselves. And the very disrespectful manner from him: he didn’t look at us while speaking to us, and put everything just on the table ignoring who drink was ordered for. He was the only one who spoiled the impression as for someone who came for the first time. P.S: I didn’t take pictures of food cause I was more interested in music 😍I put 3 ⭐️ because there were other people who tried to be nice.

Overall rather disappointing dinning experience. The place was full on a Friday night and there even was a line of people to be seated. We have booked in advance, asked for a corner table and did get it. It is nicely placed on Budva Marina. Has rather pleasant view and atmosphere. Food however, was rather average. We have ordered a dish of various grilled meat, oysters, fish soup and some appetizers. Fish soup was good, but everything else really was quite disappointing. Dishes are large (as they usually are in Montenegro), but the meat was mostly dry and overcooked, oysters had too much oil on the dish. Service was ok, but not more. Waiter wasn't really helpful in choosing dishes, had to wait for a check for a while. The place is somehow very overpriced. We paid €80 for a rather modest dinner for two. The most expensive and probably the most disappointing dinner of our trip.

Beautiful, large restaurant by the sea! Came as part of a large tour group and they handled our group easily with no wait at all. Very fast service, I was impressed. We learned mussels are harvested in the Adriatic sea ports of Montenegro and wanted to try some fresh mussels so we ordered 2 portions of their mussels Jadran (12€ each). They were great! Fresh, cooked in a red tomato sauce though the mussels were smaller than we had hoped. (Not the restaurants fault). As a nice touch, the restaurant also gave complimentary bread with delicious fish pate and olives. Would recommend. They are celebrating their 40 year anniversary and the menu is very tourist friendly with what looks like every language offered.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our mussel experience at Jadran. We ordered fish soup, three portions of Mussel Jadran, Grilled squid and were provided with a free bread basket. We were surprised to find that the portions for Mussels were gigantic, especially for a price and the flavour of the mussel juice/sauce was delicious. The customer service was ok, we had some communications issues due to language barrier however we got everything we ordered. We were also able to get filtered water for free, whereas other restaurants don’t seem to allow it. €1 service charge pp. Card payments are accepted and there is also free WIFI. Beautiful view of the oceans and boats! Highly recommend.
