ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANT TO CHOOSE IN KOTOR
LOCATION The restaurant is located a bit further away from the busy Old Town, ideal place to avoid the crowd. You can sit inside or outside at the terrace with some truly magnificent view. Easily accessable by walk or if you would come here with a car, you can find a parking spot close as well (we did not have to pay for parking)
THE RESTAURANT ITSELF Stylish and comfortable restaurant, everything seemed to be in good condition. Comfortable seats and pillows are provided as well. Toilets are okay, the door was a bit hard to close.
SERVICE This is one of the main aspect that shocked us - and the reason why we are giving 5stars! At most of the places, the waiters treat you like a piece of s... - rolling their eyes and giving the lowest effort possible (we visited more than a dozen place, restaurants, bars and cafes and it was always like this) WELL NOT HERE! - the waitress' english level was not the greatest however she was always smiling and she was super kind, trying her best to explain anything.
MENU Prices are a bit below than avarage. Wide range of dishes available, suitable for vegetarian diet as well.
MEALS & DRINKS Great quality of dishes, the ingredients were fresh. Meals arrived quite fast with a nice plating. The salads were freshly cut and the pizza was crispy yet soft. Drinks were served in cooled glasses.
This was probably the most pleasant experience for us during our stay in Kotor and in...
Read moreI came here for dinner. The view and the food was good. However the service was completely off for me. I ordered pasta with seafood for the main course, the waitress brought me a risotto instead of the pasta. I told her she got the wrong dish, she went to ask the kitchen and told me “no pasta”, I’m ok with the risotto but wish they told me first before switching the meal because I would have ordered a different dish. As for dessert I got crepes with nutella. The waitress brought me crepes with nutella and banana, which costs a bit more expensive and I don’t like bananas. I’m not a conflict guy, so I just scooped bananas and let my girlfriend eat it. In the end, the total of the meal was 60e. When we were ready to pay, our waitress put 70e on the bill. We asked why was it so, the waitress told us it was for “waitressing fee that comes with a table”. I am fine with giving tips to waitresses, but not 10e on 60e bill, especially when the only correct thing served was water. At least she could ask the amount of the tip we are willing to give and don’t include it on the bill by default. When we looked quite displeased and confused, she said if it is a problem it is okay and didn’t charge us 10e, which was nice of her, I guess. In general, the food and the place were ok (which is why I don’t put one star), wouldn’t come back though nor would...
Read moreWe came here for lunch in our last day in Kotor, we sat down and make our order. The waiter seemed in a mood and grabbed our bottle that was on the table and shoved it on the sofa saying it is an outside drink and couldn’t be there.
The waiter came back and as he was setting the table knocked my boyfriend glasses which fell on the floor, didn’t apologise and even said ‘you welcome’ turned to me as I was wearing a skirt and a bikini top and told me i couldn’t be on my bikini top (fair enough if there wasn’t other ladies around wearing only a bikini top).
We thought about leave as the service ruined completely out mood and it made us feel not welcome but we couldn’t be bothered with a scene, so we patiently waited more than 30 minutes for a salad and a sandwich. Salad was totally dry not a drip of olive oil and the sandwich was tasteless.
Long wait to pay and staff (the guy not the lady) was miserable throughout the time we were there. I do not recommend this place, price is okayish but its not worth the food...
