We definitely had language barrier issues, but the service and food was a complete and utter disaster. The we ordered an appetizer, but the waiter charged us for three main courses instead. Before we got our food, I called him over to tell him it was wrong, but he just walked away from me mid-sentence. It took about 1,5 hours for us to get our food. When it finally came, he brought the third main course, which we tried to tell him was incorrect. He made no attempt to bring us what we wanted, and seemed like he was mad at us for his mistake. The food was lukewarm. The chicken flavorful, but it was dry and tough as leather and my rice was so undercooked and crunchy, that it was literally inedible. They told my boyfriend that the fish was fried, but it was steamed instead. It was tasty, though. I would give the food 0 stars if possible. My wife ordered the beef which arrived stone cold in a river of weird sloppy mash. The waiter confessed it had been waiting too long so they dutifily remade my carbonara and my wife had the pork instead. That dish arrived with a raw centre which apparently is the local way. Not medium rare, raw and flabby. Now I'm pretty sure there's a reason why pork isn't a meat that is served as a tartar but what do I know? It also came with fries which was not the advertised side. They heated that up for us and offered free glasses of wine to compensate which was a nice gesture. They then however brought the bill which was a €10 overcharge. The menu promised main dishes with potatoe salad and garlic sauce, but instead, received only stir-fried vegetables. Since I had also ordered grilled vegetables as an extra, I ended up with just a plate full of veggies—none of which were actually grilled, but rather simply stir-fried. Despite the restaurant being only half full, the wait for our meal was 30–40 minutes. Another downside was that almost everyone outside was chain smoking, so be prepared to enjoy your seafood alongside a strong scent of cigarette smoke.
