I was today at 14.05 in this restaurant and I found the most unpleasant place in Podgorica because of the waiter around 40 to 50 years old was the most rude and mean worker I have ever seen in all restaurants so far. He took the order at 14.05, still waiting for 25 minutes and saw around that nobody else has taken food. My friend complained first about the food not coming, he also smelled like alchool. At 14.35 he asked what was your order again? I complaned again nicely inside the restaurant and he was saying sorry by using weird gestures. At 14.55 he said not yet ready, I asked why not and he replied that the cook had thrown the food in the floor and had to prepare from the begining and to add more he said that had 20 years of experience.Imagine the food was thrown in the floor by the cook by mistake??? Now I would like to notify the owners of this restaurant, it's such a shame things like that happens bcs one day before(14th of Jan) I had an excellent service around 7 or 8 pm served by a young man. Today was horrible and I would emphasize strongly that was made on purpose or he had come drunk at work....
Read moreThe food is actually quite average, but they have raised the prices recently. Service okay, includes a full range of rip off behavior. The left section, near CKB bank, middle aged male waiter would insist on tip, mild level of aggression. Right section, male waiter with all white hair, good service, but always miscalculate the bill to give himself a tip.
I’d say, any restaurant, east of independence square, avoid. The male waiters of these restaurants are consisted of the bottom of what Europe has to offer, worse than Albania. Behaviors range from pushy, rude, shady, all tactics are deployed. Best way to enter these restaurants, is full body suit of anti riot gear, and a sturdy baton. Now we can communicate on the same level, meat on baton, thugs on the ground.
If you do want to eat in the city center, close to the municipality building, there are a cluster of restaurants with better behavior, tourist exploitation still happens, but improved from...

I went to this restaurant on a hot day for a late lunch and sat outside. They had spacious outdoor seating with fans that blew mist, which was well appreciated given the scorching temperature.
I ordered the fish soup as a starter. It took almost twenty minutes to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The soup was thick, flavourful, and well-seasoned.
For the main course, I chose the seafood prawn risotto. It also took a while to arrive, but I didn't mind because it was really good. The risotto was creamy and had a porridge-like texture - just the way it should be. The portion was big and the flavours reminded me of the tapas I had in Spain.
I did have to wait longer than expected for the dishes even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Despite that, I was happy with the overall experience and would be happy to...
