Came for dinner early evening with my husband. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Ordered pumpkin soup as a starter which was delicious however on ordering we notify the waiter I was pregnant. When receiving the complimentary bread I preferred butter which we asked for however my husband reminded the waiter several times and was brushed off, it finally came solid from being in the fridge with the main meals so couldn't enjoy the bread and butter my cravings hoped for. Not to mention my husband was very clear in telling the waiter which dish I wanted but I received steak and frites which was not the tenderloin and gratin we asked for. Personally, I don't prefer frites in a restaurant of class. Notified the manager who wouldn't let me explain and was quite rude. I am English and my husband Moroccan I felt the treatment towards my husband was much better and I was ignored, poorly treated and given the wrong dish and given items late. Was this racism? Possibly. The service in McDonalds is 10 times better than what I received at this establishment. Do not go here if you like getting the dish...
Read moreI went on a Sunday night, which it was relatively empty. However, the experience was still peaceful and relaxing in itself. The restaurant is beautiful. It has an up and downstairs, a smoking and non smoking area. The food was tasty, I had the snow crab with avocado, salmon with cream cheese spread, and bread. Then apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I didn’t take any pictures of the food but the presentation was good and it tasted even better. They also have a wide selection of choices for drinks. (Alcohol included) Customers will have options. The service was good and spot on. My French is sub par and waiter tried to accommodate me by speaking English. The icing on the apple pie was the staff playing music in the restaurant to make it feel lively. I appreciated that. The prices are higher then other places in Rabat. But if you want a nice restaurant and atmosphere, it makes up in that. I will definitely be back in future...
Read moreRestaurant was nice! We sat out in the courtyard. Staff was attentive and nice - probably the best service we’ve had in Morocco to date.
Our table had a mix of food - everything from steak to seafood. Overall, mixed reviews on the food. Those of us who had the steak had better reviews than those who did not.
Steak came with fries. Fries were delicious and well salted. Steak was well cooked and was a good portion.
My wife had the sole. Simple flavour but well cooked. All seafood dishes required you to remove the bones or shells (other people had prawns). Boiled potato was a bit bland, same with the little veggies that came with it.
Overall a good experience, but a little punch in flavour would have easily taken...
