Tajine wa Tanjia — Restaurant in Hassan حسان

Firstly, have to say, this was the most expensive restaurant we visited in Morocco, looking at meal prices. Very close to European level, but the food was worth it. Very friendly staff, lovely live music, a man playing beautifully.

I had the sweet lamb tagine, and it was one of the best I had in Morocco. The Camel was very much recommended, but I did not try it this time, since I craved something sweeter. Very good and varied menu, slightly disappointed in the dessert menu (the most important.. ), so we didnt have any.

I loved this place, everything starts with a lovely atmosphere that immerses you with all the decoration and music on the background sang by a local player with a typical instrument.

Then, speaking about food, everything is delicious, I tried several dishes which I personally loved, pastilla, tajine pruneaux, tanjia chameau (made of camel) all the different flavors from this place were simply delicious, try also the meat balls and the dishes made of egg plant.

Everything ends with thé à la menthe and some Moroccan pastries. It's a place that you must visit if...
