I would not expected such a bad experience, reading the other ratings, but l had the worst couscous l could remember in my life with overcooked vegetables brauny sauce, cold tough meat and toped with a type of strange marmalade, in Morocco some use dryed raisins but never these type of combination, all of it served in small sized dessert plate. I couldn't eat a bite of it, and the the owner saw it , came to us, apologized for the bad served dish, put the falt on the service staff and suggested that he will not charge us for it. But at the end send us the bill and made us pay the full price which is the double of the other restaurants around the corner we did not want to argue and left ,with the untouched meal.We realized afterwards that the place is too small and don't have a real kitchen. Sorry but this snackbar should be avoided for good marocan dishes, we found many much better and fare cheaper at the end of the top of the...
Read moreThe experiences I had at this restaurant was the perfect way to end my last night in Morocco. I ordered the lamb tangine and wow, I enjoyed every single bite of that dish. Lamb was tender and the sauce was packed with so much flavor. The caramelized onions, prunes, date with walnut, and sesame seeds all played a role in that dish. Portion size seemed small but I felt full and content after finishing. Their creme caramel pudding was also very outstanding. Light flavor that was so addicting.
I can't submit this review without mentioning their service. The owner of the restaurant provided not just wonderful service, but with so much kindness, passion, and patience. Yes, the restaurant may seem touristy with its location and perhaps a bit of an elevated price, but I would gladly return because they have earned my loyalty. I highly recommend this restaurant and to make a trip to Fes a little more...

We got excited for the food… but quickly we began smelling a scent of mold and realized that the wall (and bamboo fixtures) we were sitting next to had signs of severe humidity issues and was FULL of mold underneath. Black mold is dangerous for anyone to inhale. I am allergic to mold. Immediately felt my eyes itch and breath shorten.
We hesitated and wanted to leave. But because we had already ordered and were too tired to speak up, we took our food to go, to enjoy elsewhere. The food was a bit overpriced but tasty.
It was quite horrible to smell the mold throughout our whole time there though. They should...
