Riad Farah offers a unique and enchanting experience for travelers seeking an authentic Moroccan stay in the heart of Fes. This charming riad, nestled within the labyrinthine streets of the medina, blends traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts, making it a memorable and delightful destination.

Atmosphere and Ambiance: The riad’s ambiance is a perfect blend of tranquility and cultural richness. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a beautifully decorated courtyard adorned with lush plants and a tranquil fountain, creating a serene oasis away from the bustling streets outside. The intricate tile work, carved wooden doors, and vibrant textiles add to the authentic Moroccan feel, making every corner of the riad a visual delight.

Rooms: The rooms at Riad Farah are elegantly designed, each uniquely decorated to reflect Moroccan craftsmanship. Comfortable beds, traditional furnishings, and modern amenities ensure a relaxing stay. The attention to detail in the decor, from colorful rugs to handcrafted furniture, enhances the overall experience. However, some guests might find the rooms slightly small, a common characteristic of traditional riads.

Service: The staff at Riad Farah are exceptionally warm and hospitable, always ready to assist with a smile. Their willingness to go the extra mile, whether it's arranging tours, providing local insights, or accommodating special requests, significantly enhances the guest experience. The personalized service makes visitors feel like valued guests rather than just customers.

Dining: The riad’s dining experience is a culinary delight. The traditional Moroccan breakfast, served in the courtyard or on the rooftop terrace, features fresh bread, pastries, fruits, and a variety of local delicacies. Guests can also enjoy delicious homemade Moroccan meals for lunch and dinner upon request. The flavors and presentation reflect the rich culinary heritage of Morocco, making each meal a memorable part of the stay.

Location: Located in the heart of the Fes medina, Riad Farah offers easy access to many of the city's historical and cultural landmarks. While the narrow, winding streets can be challenging to navigate, the riad’s central location allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the old city.

Amenities: The riad offers a range of amenities to enhance the comfort of its guests, including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and airport transfers. The rooftop terrace provides a stunning view of the medina, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Some guests might miss having a swimming pool, which is not uncommon in many riads.

Overall Experience: Riad Farah is an excellent choice for travelers looking to experience the charm and authenticity of Fes. Its beautiful decor, excellent service, and central location make it a standout option in the medina. While there are a few minor drawbacks, such as room size and the lack of a pool, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive. For a genuine taste of Moroccan hospitality and culture, Riad Farah is a...

We arrived to a very friendly welcome, while we drank the mint tea we were presented with, our luggage was taken to our rooms.

The place is decorated with traditional Moroccan patterns. The rooms are really nice, mine was decorated in yellow patterns and had a private bathroom and air conditioning.

Its quick and easy to escape the hustle and bustle and craziness of the medina because the Riad is situated down an alley just off one the of the main streets.

Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, where there is a view over the medina and you can see out to Marinad Tombs.

The breakfast was slightly different on both mornings of our stay. It included nice selection of bread, pastries, egg, orange juice and coffee.

On the second morning the egg had meat in it, I was asked if I ate meat I said “no”. Without me asking, they prepared me another egg with no meat which was really nice of them.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

Not really the Riads fault but its fairly close to a mosque so if you're a light sleeper like me you may want to use ear plugs so you're not woken by the early...

Our stay at Riad Farah was nothing short of amazing! The personnel truly go above and beyond, offering a level of care and attentiveness that feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel. From the moment we arrived, they were eager to share their knowledge of the medina, giving excellent recommendations on must-visit spots and practical advice, including how to navigate around less welcoming guides.

The room was beautifully kept—super clean and cozy, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous, with a variety of fresh, delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. We also enjoyed dinner here, which was equally impressive.

The terrace is a wonderful highlight, offering breathtaking views of the sunrise and a peaceful space to unwind. The Riad’s location in the medina is ideal, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and kiosks where you can easily find whatever you need.

All in all, the team at Riad Farah ensured we had a wonderful experience, and we can’t recommend this place enough! We’ll...

Awesome riad. Staff goes above and beyond to help with anything you need. Great english for us too. Even gave us their whatsapp so we could contact them with questions while we were out and about. Very steep stairs to upper levels, but they took all our bags up for us - not expecting tip. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Bathroom very small, but fine for our stay. There were previous reviews about being pressured to pay in cash, but this was not our experience. Very happy for us to pay anyway we needed/wanted - although a standard bank fee of 5% applied for paying by card (May 2025). Breakfast was great on the rooftop. Even organised a very simple takeaway breakfast for our very early morning getaway on our last morning as well as organising our taxi to airport €20. Also helped with our bags and walked us to our taxi - 3:30am. Mid 30s Australian couple.
