Khmissa — Restaurant in Fez

They have cats inside the restaurant Food was ok but not so great and also it was expensive. They have live music around 6-7 pm but we didnt make it as we were there around 9. Terrace is nice in summer but cold and windy in winter when we were there in January. Its also not the best customer service. We asked for the bill and he just gave us a total price to pay and we asked for the written bill. He then wrote down on a napkin and it was 15 DH less than what he told us. Beer was 40DH which is expensive but in Medina beer is forbidden so they charge...

Goog to go have a tea or eat something. We just went there to have a tea and listen to some live music they were playing,m traditional from there (and in my opinion, too loud).

Its made of four floors so if you don't lie what's in one of them you can go to the other (and if the music was too loud you will still listen to it without becoming deaf). The top floor is a terrace with panoramic views of the city, that day was a little windy but sure next time...

Great bunch of guys. Run by a single extended family. Great tea and coffee. They also serve a lovely avocado shake and a mixed fruit shake. We highly, highly recommend their chicken pastille.

We liked this place so much that we ended up here on 5 separate occasions during our stay in Fes. They have a panoramic view from their terrace and they have actual toilets you can sit on rather than the squatting toilets found...
