Best restaurant in Fes Title: A Hidden Gem with Friendly Service and Delicious Food** I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the private dining area on their charming roof terrace — perfect for an intimate meal with friends or family, while enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The food was simply outstanding! I started with a freshly squeezed orange juice, which was absolutely refreshing, and their mint lemonade is to die for! For my meal, I had the chicken and beetroot salad, which was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The hummus super bowl was equally filling and bursting with flavor. Make sure to save room for dessert — the cake and dessert selection is amazing and the perfect way to end the meal! Overall, an excellent experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and top-notch service.

Cannot recommend the cooking class with Souad enough. We were lucky enough to do the class as a private session with Souad, she took us to the markets first and explained so much about the Moroccan culture, produce and how the markets operate. The class was so nicely paced, we never felt rushed at any time, and Souad took the time to answer lots of questions about the culture, the food and the spices. We aren’t great cooks by any means but Souad made it an easy and seamless experience for us to learn how to cook four different dishes. Every dish was delicious, and most importantly easily adapted for a gluten intolerance. We felt so welcome and at home at Cafe Clock Fez and will even be going back for more events during our time here. Most importantly, the class was very fun! Highly recommend you sign up for the cooking class, it is well worth the value for money and you will learn a thing or two to recreate the dishes back home. Absolutely divine, and would rate higher if I could.

As the first restaurant we went to in Fez, Café Clock provided an excellent representation of Moroccan cuisine. Travelling as a group of 4, we were able to order a variety of dishes without feeling overfed. We started off with the Moroccan salad, which featured different vegetables, potato salad, delicious pancake pastries even dates. This was followed by the world-famous Moroccan couscous which we had with chicken. The camel burger felt no different than an ordinary burger though... But of course, the two stars of the night were the chicken rfissa and the lamb tagine. Both were distinct to Morocco and flavorful. They were not spicy but still filled out tongues with different tastes and textures. Not pictured here were the freshly squeezed orange juice and the chocolate smoothies which were also as delicious as they sound. Likewise, the staff were friendly and accommodating, truly making us feel welcome. We're giving this restaurant 5 stars!

This delightful spot is well worth a visit. Delicious food, friendly service, and a lovely rooftop concert from a local musician who sang and played Oud. (Dress warmly if you're going for the rooftop concerts in the wintertime.) The chicken r'fissa, couscous boohaloo, sweet potato wedges, smash burger, and pumpkin bissara were all fantastic. The chicken breast in the r'fissa was not as tender as it could have been, but the lentils were perfect and the dish was so wonderfully flavourful that I didn't mind at all. It was delicious, and I'd happily order it again. The portions were generous—out of our party of six, I was the only one who finished his meal! The restaurant isn't easy to find—it's hidden away down a little alley. Look for the small orange-and-blue sign where the alley meets the street, or ask one of the friendly vendors on the street nearby. It's worth looking for.

We stopped by here for a light lunch and a sit down after walking around the medina all morning - it is the perfect quiet escape from the medina streets! The rooftop terrace has a nice view of a minaret and plenty of shaded seating, and the inside is nice and cool. The food was great - we had the gazpacho and smokey zaalouk (this was particularly good!!). A nice selection of veggie and vegan options - we had quite a few to choose from. The servers were friendly and chatty. Overall would definitely return and recommend!! We also did the Moroccan bread + patisserie class with Miriam, and it was EXCELLENT!! You get to choose 2 breads and 2 biscuits / sweet treats to make. As part of it, you get to visit the community oven, which was a cool experience. We also came away with so much food. Highly recommend whilst you’re in Fes!!

I have been told that this is the best café/restaurant in town, and indeed it is. Everything deserves 5 stars. The food we got and the beverages are great. I got a creamed coffee and it was one of the best I got so far in whole Fez. I got Pancakes with dark chocolate and fruits and they were really amazing, the fruits were fresh, the Pancakes were tasty and very well made, I felt full once I finished them. The dishes my family got were top. We were extremely satisfied with the food, the place, the view, the waiters and the staff in the kitchen. They are very friendly and helpful, you may ask them about anything you want, they speak most of the world's languages... I can write pages about this café/restaurant... Extremely recommended for all people, whether you are a couple, a family or even alone for a break.
