Golden China has been our family’s go-to spot in Casablanca for decades and it never disappoints. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, but it is well worth planning around because the food is truly finger-licking good.

As vegetarians, we are always delighted by the variety and quality of their dishes. The tofu croquettes (which need to be ordered half a day in advance) are absolutely amazing, crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful inside. The riz croquant végétarien with tofu, a sizzling dish, is another favorite and our kids love it every single time. For something with a little kick, the mapo tofu (medium spicy) is perfectly balanced, authentic, and plenty spicy for those who enjoy bold flavors.

Beyond the food, what makes Golden China extra special is the warm hospitality. The waiters are always friendly, attentive, and consistently provide excellent service, making every visit feel welcoming and comfortable.

It is rare to find a place where both the food and service remain consistently excellent for so many years. Golden China manages it effortlessly and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Chinese flavors and genuine hospitality...

To be honest, I was disappointed at the food. The service was great, the waiter was nice and he tried to make us comfortable and the decoration of the resturant was nice. However, the food lacked flavour, our shrimp fried rice came out burnt and NO taste also the hot and spicy shrimp was dry and burnt. Mind you when we walked in we were the only ones in the resturant . I have been to so many Chinese eatery and this was the worse fried rice I have ever had. The portion was so small and ridiculously expensive. We got a dish called 干燒四季豆 that was served with more chili peppers than beans. It was so spicy that we couldn't eat it. From the name of the dish you can't possibly tell that it was a spicy dish.

Since we couldn't eat the above mentioned dish, we ordered a fried eggs with tomato. In this dish, there were egg shells in it! My boyfriend left hungry as he found the food disgusting. This was our most expensive meal in Casablanca and the price we paid was not worth it. I would give it zero...
