If you're not twenty something then find another spot that serves Italian food. The prices are a little on the high side pizza at 95 MAD. Pasta dishes well over one hundred dirhams. On the night we dined here the establishment had hired a pair of musicians one playing guitar and the other drumming. The music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. The guitarist was also the singer and sang off key the whole evening sounding a little like a sick goat. But the young crowd didn't seem to mind or know the difference, so busy taking selfies. As they are not licensed for beer or wine we had to order a dealcoholized version of beer which the server brought to the table room at temperature. I insisted she take it back which she reluctantly did and brought us another two bottles, this time, slamming them down on the table. It didn't help that my companion complained about the loud music, asking if they could turn it down a little. The pizzas were generous in size but failed to dazzle because they were lacking in any types of herbs or spices and were therefore a little on the bland side.
Would we dine here again?
Not on your life. If you are looking for a better Italian restaurant then walk a block or so down to Anna and Paulos. THEY are licensed, food is better too. Unfortunately it was Sunday night and this day they...
Read moreThis is the worst restaurant in Tangier in terms of hospitality. i went there yesterday with my little family for dinner, we scanned the menu on the table, we waited for some time then made our order. The waiter came and said we have at least to order one special full menu that they had for that day. There was no sign on the table nor on the door the entrance, after hesitation then I said ok, I will take one full menu for me, which was a choice between beef and fish. My little kids had different preferences and the same for my wife. We waited for a while then the waiter came back and said his manager said that we have to order at lest two menus, I said do you have other options of full menu, he said no only these two. This was a very rude and unprofessional treatment. I just decided to quit. Stay away from these opportunists they are far away from...
Read moreEnzo's interior is absolutely beautiful, with comfortable seats, crisp embroidered napkins and refreshing air-conditioning. When I walked into this Italian restaurant and pizzeria not far from the Hôtel Chellah, I was really impressed.
Even before ordering, I looked around and could hardly believe I was in Tangier. This place is the tops in quality. The chefs and kitchen workers wear white and there is a wood fire in the oven to cook various pizzas.
There are many pastas on the extensive menu, plus delicious lasagne, pizzas and non-alcoholic drinks.
You'll pay more here than most places, but you will get well-prepared food, generous portions, crisp white embroidered napkins, polite and prompt service by the waiters, and the atmosphere can't be beat. Try eating here on a hot day and you'll definitely cool off while enjoying the...
