I've been a resident of Tangier for 7 years, and this is the place I've been waiting for. Mofi is everything you hope for in a restaurant: chef-owned, which to me is always a strong sign. This isn’t just a business—it’s someone’s passion for food, flavor, and hospitality.
The menu is creative, the flavors are complex, and—major bonus—they offer genuinely great gluten-free options. Honestly, it's the only spot in Tangier (besides the usual seafood places) where you can eat really well on a gluten-free diet.
We had the fired cutlet with vegetables and the GF Bo Bun with carrot slaw and fresh herbs. Both were absolutely delicious—unique, layered, and clearly crafted with care. The drinks are also thoughtful and well done.
The vibe? Simple, fresh decor. Kind staff. Attentive but relaxed service. The chef even comes around to check in—something I always appreciate.
Do I need to say more? Mofi is a must. Hands down my favorite place in Tangier. It’s a bit under the radar for now but won’t...
Read moreMofi is truly a breath of fresh air. This cozy little restaurant specializes in healthy, gluten-free food, and it’s unlike anything I’ve tried before. The moment you step inside, you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else—it’s small, but beautifully designed, with thoughtful decor and an amazing atmosphere. The music was especially lovely and added so much to the experience.
The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, making you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every detail, from the cleanliness to the presentation, shows real dedication.
The food is light, refreshing, and full of flavor—you walk out feeling satisfied and good about what you’ve eaten. They even serve some delicious Vietnamese dishes, along with a variety of main meals, desserts, drinks, and coffee.
What a fantastic discovery. Mofi is a true gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and healthy...
Read moreMOFI just opened, maybe a month ago and it's pretty darn amazing. Every time I go I find something new that's my new favorite item from their awesome menu. The first time I had the crab rangoons, which were tangy and delicious. Time two my friend ordered the confit chicken, which became my new favorite, cooked to perfection and served over a delicious bed of sweet potatoes. Time three I had the chicken ban mi sandwich and, let me tell you, I have not stopped thinking about that sandwich (fair warning: it's quite large). Then today I had the yuzu and curry wings. If you put that sauce on a shoe I'd eat it, but over the perfectly cooked wings it was divine. They take pride in their food and ingredients (today we talked about the newly imported parmesean from Italy) and the service is top notch. I can't wait to continue trying...
