We went here twice during our stay. I ordered chicken Rfissa but I was surprised at how small the portion size was for the price, it was a ridiculously small piece of dry chicken at high end Essaouria prices. We went there the second time and thought I give it another chance since the reviews were good I thought maybe it was just a bad day. This time I ordered a fish Bastilla but when I received my order again it was so tiny it was rarely a "meal". I took one bite and immediately felt sick, I spat out my food for the first time in my life that I could remember, there was a hideous off taste. The dough was dry and burnt full of oil and the strange taste could not be ignored. I have had severe diarrhea since this meal, definitely not...

THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I'M WRITING, and i decided to so because these people DESERVE IT ALL!!! We bumped into this restaurant by accident, and we thank the universe for bringing us to this amazing place!! Litterally the best food we had in all Morocco. You have to try the vegetarian rfissa and the squid tajine, simply unbelievable. You can really feel the family ambient in this place, that welcomes you in the warmest way.
