Picknick — Restaurant in Essaouira

We went as a group of friend after that we had breakfast somewhere else, for refreshing drinks. The place was good so were the drinks, but the staff were acting weird, they made us very uncomfortable, making eye contact together about us. They made us feel un welcomed.

Edit: it is very unprofessional and insecure to make your clients seem like liars, okay i will give you details, you had two girls one with braids and another one, the third is a hijabi tall girl. We ordered 6 smoothies, 3 mangos, 1 coconut, 1 chocolate and 1 green. We used the toilets and when a foreigner wanted to go in and was busy the staff asked each other who is in, and the other one pointed to us and then made a face expression. They made us feel very uncomfortable and made us feel like leaving the whole time. We were very unwelcomed. I dont understand why would you deny your unprofessionalism. Be brave enough to admit that you need improvement and your staff should be more polite. The date we came was 05/05/2024 at exactly 14pm. I was shocked by the way they are still working. The waitress is doing cleaning and serving customers. She went to the restroom to clean and without washing her hand she brought me my order. The amount of food is small compared to the price of the meal. Stray cats in the place are trying to share the food. I hope the restaurant owner takes some of my comments seriously, and trains the employees on cleanliness. They can start cleaning and preparing for work before the service time so that the customer is comfortable and not exposed to any allergies from cleaning materials.
