While the terrace view at IL 288 is indeed breathtaking, unfortunately, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations. The burgers my companion ordered were disappointing, and the fish tajine I tried was soggily overcooked. The service was just average - not overly attentive or accommodating.

For the prices charged, one would expect a higher level of quality and attention to detail. It was disheartening to find the outdoor furniture was damp and the tables unclean with sticky residue. Even a simple tea order was mishandled, arriving overly sweetened despite asking for it sugar-free.

It seems management may be letting standards slip by not addressing recurring feedback about areas needing improvement. With its lovely location, IL 288 could be so much better if they made dining here a priority over just trading on the views alone. As it stands currently, the overall value and experience don't quite justify the cost for most diners. We ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil, but got champignon mushrooms instead and I couldn’t feel truffle oil at all. Pizza tasted like they spilled a beverage on top. The service was slow even though the restaurant was empty, there only were two people. They didn’t even pour water into the glasses, just left the bottle on the table. The sea food pasta was soooo good the only flaws is that the menu needs more options I hope they can fix that in the future and especially pizza options because not everyone want potatoes in their pizza , and also the prices are high , so not everyone will come back every time to eat at the same restaurant because of the prices.
