Café Frescobaldi — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Unfortunately, our experience at this café was very disappointing. We came as a group of five, and from the start, the service was chaotic. The waiter didn’t take notes and seemed to bring whatever he felt like — we received drinks we didn’t order, including water and juice, which we were later charged for. When it came time to pay, things got even worse. The prices on the bill didn’t match the menu, and when we asked for clarification or a receipt, the waiter refused to provide one. Instead, he started typing random amounts into a calculator, clearly guessing prices on the spot. He also didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult — but more concerning was that he refused card payment and didn’t return the correct change in cash. We too were overcharged twice, both by the same waiter. The Moroccan soup is very good, but the menu is limited. This is now added 10 days later. When we went to pay tonight, the waiter had a mobile phone with 71 written on it - that's all, no billing. It should have been 59, so he tried to charge us an extra 12 Dh for ???? Then I gave him 20 Dh to pay for my 12Dh soup, and he gave me back 3 Dh. When I questioned him about the short change, he had the extra 5 in his pocket probably waiting to see if I noticed.
