Our first visit to morroco, marrakech. Beautiful airport but very busy.

All Morrocons are so nice, friendly and very helpful too.

At the airport staff were very nice and helpful too. Taxi driver also very helpful and nice.

The hotel is a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants very convenient.

We are very happy with our big room. Maid clean the room every morning and replaced fresh bath towels and hand towels etc. They are all very nice and hard working. Thank you.

The breakfast is nice. Not my every day breakfast. Unfortunately the cappuccino is not consistent. Too milky. The staff are nice and friendly too.

Our dinners are so delicious. We are so happy. All the diner staff are very friendly and helpful. We like to thank Othmane, Mahdi and Adnan for their amazing services. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

We like to thank the manager Abdelaadim who helped us to called jet2 because jet2 staff didn't text us prior to the depart daye. Mr. Abdelaadim he was such a gem. He is very friendly and very helpful to us. Thank you.

All the reception staff are very friendly and helpful too. Especially thanks to Abdellah and Tarik and another couple of the staff too. I didn't ask for their names. Keep up the good work.

We would definitely come back to Morocco but different part of morroco.

I would recommend friends and family to come and stay at...

Hotel:-is what I would call rustic old school in Gueliz But big enough room, small balcony, air con (but need to set and save to suit ) Fridge, safe, clean, do nicely for a city break Breakfast included,:- Coffee, orange juice, pastries, bowl of fruit, bread, salad, cheese, tomatoes ,omelette Dip pool ,and sunbeds but not a sun trap fine to relax and cool of away from heat Restaurants inside and out at night decent menu And bar that sells tapas but when busy smoking may be a problem for some 50 Dm /:£5 taxi to medina but agree fare for journey first or demand meter is turned on ( be aware of overcharging) Or 40 min straight forward walk if use maps on phone Shout out for 2 things I think you should try La madelein patisserie for a cookie,oh la la or snack 100 dm / £10 for two And 2 mins to left of hotel Turkish steak house budget to suit you for us 400 dm / £40 for kevav, steak flatbread, 1 soft drink and 3 cocktail Fillet and chateubraund started at 220 dm + £22+ including fries or potatoes,,veg, sauce One more thing horse and carriage is up to you what willing to pay we where asked for 500 dm /£50 Hunted him later on got priced 200 down to 130 dm £13 for 30/40 minute tour of area We paid 200 dm for tour and get dropped off at hotel No problem in shops or restaurants but taxi,s and horse and carriage think tourists...

Great location, clean hotel and comfortable beds. Perfect place to explore the city and shopping areas of Gueliz as well as being within walking distance of the railway station and Supratours bus station where we took a trip to Essaouira for 2 nights during our 7 night stay at Hotel Le Caspien. Rather than checking out, we chose to pay for the other 2 nights in a different city so we had the benefit of being able to return without having to pack and check-in again or put our bags in storage. The room at Le Caspien was clean and we were at the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor above the Spanish Tapas (Taberna). Complaints about noise has been mentioned - on our first night we realised there is an internal window and another outer window. We could hear noise but after closing the outer window, it created a double glazed effect and we experienced no further noise for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was a little sparse and not quickly replenished which meant having to ask for juices to be refilled, yoghurts added into the fridge etc. Hard but comfortable beds which is the course of things in Morocco is something we discovered. On our last evening, we took our evening meal at the French restaurant by the small pool at the rear of the hotel. We would definitely...

Pros: - location - close large super market and mall to buy any essentials. Quieter area - comfortable bed - Netflix available - balcony - bathtub Cons: - balcony doors did not lock (they sent someone to fix the doors and they did lock… but when I opened the doors the next day to let in some air, they went back to not locking again) - you had to pay to use the in room safe - a charge per night of use - laundry was inconsistent with coming back clean (one day clean the next day returned with sticky stains that was the reason they had been sent to be cleaned. They did wash them again when this was pointed out). - breakfast was very carb heavy - lots of bread - thin walls - I could hear the guy in the next room coughing constantly
