I was part of a rather large group, visiting the restaurant. I arrived late and had been worried but as it turned out close to none of the guests sitting at the table had received even a menu yet. Subsequently I thought that this would be a looong process to get food and drinks and that, maybe, the restaurant was overwhelmed with us - BUT NO! We had a fantastic waiter ( he did not introduce himself but white a sweater over his shirt) to our table who served us with humor and charme and the flow of the food service for our entire group was super! I was a little disappointed with the food though as I had ordered the cordon bleue and received a few pieces of chicken breast (not a whole breast) with ham inside, smothered in a cheese like sauce and not the classic ham and cheese layer inside the chickenbreast. The French fries were undercooked and not very good either (besides all of it being very small in portion size). My table companions mostly felt the same about their dishes, so I was not alone. But I enjoyed my visit and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and comfortable. I will return again...
Read moreI enjoyed my meal but it could have been better. The prices are a lot more expensive compared to other similar quality restaurants, twice as much. It’s not worth it. Service was okay. Specials board only in French language. The air conditioning wasn’t working during my visit and it was uncomfortably warm inside, unpleasant. The snails were good although to be honest you couldn’t taste the meat because of all the sauce they were cooked in. Served “red hot”. The goats cheese salad was also good, but too big a starter for one person, could easily share for two. The steak was overcooked, I asked for medium but in my opinion I was served well done. The pepper sauce was wonderful, a “real kick” of flavours. Overall a nice restaurant if you’re willing to pay double…….and they have to fix the air...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to choose this restaurant, one of many, on our last night in Marrakesh. This was primarily as it was on the same road as our hotel, and we had walked 22 miles in the previous 48 hours. We were not disappointed. Like many things here, this was very much a heavily French eatery. The food, especially my fillet steak with pepper sauce and h/m mash was absolutely amazing. We were surprised by the lack of customers when we went in just before 9, but it was filling up, with locals - a great sign, when we were leaving close to 11. Our waiter, Rachid, was attentive, informative and funny, without being pushy. His attitude, the food, and the venue prompted us to give a near 40% tip. That is, in all honesty, not something I usually do, but it was definitely worth it. Highly...
