The rooftop view at Café Guerrab in Marrakech is nice and chill, but that’s sadly the only good thing about this place. The service is extremely slow — we waited over 30 minutes for very simple dishes like eggs with Khlie and eggs with cheese. When the food finally arrived, the quality was disappointing. For 50 MAD (~5€), we got just two eggs and few tiny bits of Khlie, and as someone originally from Fez (the real home of Khlie), I can say the Khlie here was far below standard and not reflecting the Moroccan Khlie — dry, flavorless, and clearly not authentic. It feels like this restaurant only cares about attracting tourists with its terrace view, while completely neglecting the quality, quantity, and service. Way overpriced for what you get. In short: Great view, terrible food and service. Not recommended at all.

The atmosphere is good, although like from every other rooftop restaurant here you can see the trash on nearby roofs. The wind is nice if you’re sitting on the highest floor. The food - we ordered one chicken skewer, an iced coffee and tea. The drinks were good, the food was also nice. Portion was quite generous for the price, and even though we ordered this for 2 people it was enough. The fries were very nice unlike some other restaurants, the meat was fresh, the cucumber and tomato on the sides were well seasoned and had a good overall taste. The price is very reasonable, the only downside was the wait for the food which was around 20 minutes. Overall, one of the better places for lunch near the city centre.

Fantastic rooftop view, very friend service on a Sunday for lunch at 1:30pm. Got a table without any wait, easy to communicate in English and place our order. First time trying “Moroccan Tacos”, a bit like a pressed wrap with seasoned meat, cheese and fries inside. Delicious! Chicken kebabs also very tasty. Bread and olives came with the meal. Cash only. We were short on time to get to a Tour and they packaged up the last Taco to go. Good prices for the location and view. Lastly, I had left my glasses on the table when we left, I called 30 min later and they quickly answered the phone and assured me they would hold on to them. I came back at 10pm and they pulled them out for me.
