Gon's — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Ok, so I tried asian food in many places before, and this restaurant is the least like how it is actually. 1st Kimshi, what is served here is nothing like kimshi, neither the ingredients neither the flavors neither the taste it's anything but kimshi. Kimbap, again the ingredients are nothing like what is inside the korean one, even though it's pricy enough to have the exact ingredients as the real korean one. Chickens are pretty good, but it depends on your day I visited this place to try all the dishes in different occasions, the only consistent plate I order was chickens, sometimes it's good sometimes it's raw inside or not very well washed. All the other plates other than chiken, are truly not good at all, and don't let me start about ramen it was the worst an insult to the asian ramen, the 4 DH instant noodles are far better and tastier than their 50 DH ramen. The service used to be so good and it was what made me give them more chances and try all their menu, but recently their service is trash esp after changing the staff, dude put tissues to some table without others (not that they have many clients mostly very few) in a way he makes u feel like he is looking down on you, imagine being in asain restaurant and you get food without chopsticks, u have to ask for it and get it lazely from the servant with a weird stare like you shouldn't ask for it, when actually and supposedly it should be served with kimbap like am I supposed to eat it with my bare hands ?!!. Overall all, their food is nothing like the Korean food ( AND I HAVE TRIED KOREAN FOOD MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE AND I LOVE IT), their chicken is the only eatable thing (if u are lucky enough to not have it raw and unwished from inside). The quality decreased, the quantity too (less side dishes, even a mere mayonnaise sauce is no longer served) Their service is totally trash now, nothing to have with neither the Moroccan hospitality neither the korean one. Literally not coming back here ever again.

Edit: No I'm not those 3 people I'm just me and too bad for you that day we were 3 to get that trashy service and all got upset (AND YOU KNOW THAT). Instead of throwing your silly accusations left and right it's better to focus on the content of what upsets clients instead, and just now I have noticed that many korean clients have left some of my same remarks.

It was silly of you but since you seem that interested, yes we are kpop/kdrama/kculture fans two of us JJ fans and one is Monsta.X and BAP fan lol.

Was greeted with a friendly smile by a young gentleman by the name of Muhammed Ameen.

Little did I know he was going to be the star of the restaurant with his 5 star rating of professionalism customer service skills that I had not received anywhere whilst in Marrakesh.

Dressed very smart keen to assist Muhammed Ameen recommended both meal and starter and also assisted with the spice levels to hit my hunger spot.

When the food arrived it was spot on, I went for the beef with vegetables with rice (Sogogi dupbap) with a glass of mango juice and for starters a portion of spicy chicken bites.

The chicken was nice and spicy piping hot and full of flavour I will be going back for some more soon the shake chicken which I tried was also very nice better than kfc any day.

The Sogogi dupbap once mixed which Muhammed Ameen so kindly did for me was really tasty. I actually enjoyed every bite. The food smelt as amazing as it tasted.

I was very pleased with the recommendations. I was soo hungry I forgot to take pictures but I will make another review with pictures next time.

The portion size was very generous for 1 person. 5/5

Taste was spot on and not lacking 5/5 Customers Service was beyond professional if I could I would give it 10/5.

Thank you very much Muhammed Ameen for making this meal better than most meals even thou it was not a moroccan traditional it was an experience that will be remembered.

I would recommend everyone who likes kfc or Asian food to give Gons Chicken a try you will not be disappointed.

Very very very very bad service, the cashier aka the waiter refused to serve one small portion for us "2 persons" until we gave reasons regarding that we only wanted to try and werent hungry for more, he acted like he didnt like my respond and kept acting weird when he gave us the plate, while we were eating he kept looking at us with a weird way that made us both very unconfortable. While paying, i gave him the money took it handed me the change didnt say a single word and didnt look me in the eyes. Im a long term client i always for delivery but i wont ever order anything from there when i saw how bad the service is Edit: it was the 19 june at 14:18, it was me and a friend, she love spicy food and never tried your spicy chicken so we went by the intent to order only one small spicy chicken for her try, if she doesn't like it i would eat it since it wasnt the first time eating your chicken. When we ordered only one small spicy chicken he kept insisting on that its too small for both of us, as we kept giving him the reasons why we only wanted one it wasnt a friendly advice that its too little for the both of us, he kept giving reasons why we should order something bigger and kept giving counter arguments to the arguments we gave that made me us order only one , we really felt that he was forcing us to order more, when i told him that my friend wanted to try it and that we dont anything more he said word per word: "wa daba wach bghat hi tjrb wla nta mabghitich takel" as soon as he walked away we both commented on how rude he...
