Seven of us tried the New Year’s set menu. The food was okay, but most courses were served cold, including the fish, likely because the kitchen sent out multiple dishes at once. For example, the rice served with the John Dory had been out of the oven for at least 15 minutes before we received it. (It's an open kitchen so you can see). At €120 per person, I expected the basics—like serving food hot—to be done right, especially with a kitchen staffed by 10+ chefs.
Also, €9 for a small can of Coke was excessive, and it’s surprising the €120 set menu didn’t include any drinks—not even water (€5 per bottle).
On a positive note, they did accommodate a guest with a gluten intolerance, which was appreciated. The music, entertainment, and atmosphere were quite good, and we had a nice evening overall. However, given that many places in Marrakesh offered set menus for €200+ that night, this was just okay considering the value.
Overall a great atmosphere from the bar, but lacking in the quality department - just okay, and over...
Read moreThe best experience I have had in Marakesh! The food -the steak and the non alcoholic drink sunset boulevard was excellent. The high end ones I had at different restaurants in the area were either not cooked right according to order or cold.
The moment you walk in they make you feel like you are a VVIP. The staff is supper friendly and multilingual and the menu is in English and French. The ambience made me and my company's night the best so far during our stay in Morroco compared to the high end restaurants triple in price.
The entertainment bank was simply outstanding. Lit up the otherwise quiet atmosphere, they had a banger playlist and the band first started with Spanish singer and ended with English songs. Simply a hidden jem due to being next to a hotel restaurant but it shouldn't be hidden no more. A must try if you are...
Read moreI am very surprised by the positive reviews of this restaurant since we went cause of it and turns into a massive disappointment It was the worst meal we have had in Morocco by far. They bring you an appetizer when you arrive that are clearly leftover food from other dishes, that is, food that has already been handled by other customers who have probably gone to the bathroom and come back without washing their hands and touched what they serve to you. as an aperitif. For starters, on the waiter's recommendation, we ordered some Briwate, which is something typical but with so little flavor that you can eat them tastier at any street stall. For the main dish we ordered Chicken Tajin with olives and lemon, and they brought us a chicken so dry that it had been reheated at least three times before coming to my table and with so little grace that anywhere in Morocco you eat it for Half the price and twice as good. The interior atmosphere of the place is bad, as is the food, which is why it is really difficult for me to understand the positive reviews of this place. Don't waste your money in this place, is the best advice I can give you
