Las Terrazas de Andalucia — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

I was there with friends to watch the Morocco / South Africa game. We had called ahead to make a reservation (since our first choice restaurant was already booked) for a specific table by the bar but when we arrived, the table was no longer available and we were told that no reservation could have been made or that no note of it had been made. This was very sad but did not seem to phase the female server one bit. We sat down and ordered beverages which were delivered quickly but nobody ever came to offer another round after that, nor did anyone suggest food to us throughout the entire evening. The people on the other table were eating so this was not an area where food was not served and I found this very odd. Luckily the atmosphere was pretty good and blankets were offered against the cold night ( however the heating lamps above were not switched on...). When we were in Marrakesh, this is one of our favorite places to go. The atmosphere is fantastic even though it’s street side it’s like dining in an oasis with the beautiful, cushioned couches. Nice fountains, and fantastic lighting. The menu is very very good and eclectic. Everything we’ve had has been fantastic. Our favorite is the paella absolutely out of this world! The sushi was good as well as the pizza and the Asian dishes are surprisingly on point and very flavorful. Pricing is exceptional.

Went to this place last night because it was close to the hotel where I was staying (Kenzi Rose Garden) to have dinner. As soon as we entered, they kindly seated us at the table. So far so good. We order a Cheeseburger and a Fajita, plus drinks. We wait a few minutes, and then disaster...both the dishes they bring us are wrong. A chicken sandwich and a tajine arrive. We politely point out right away that both dishes are different from what we ordered and are attacked and treated badly because they insisted that what we were saying was not true. For peace of mind, we pretend that nothing happened and disconsolately get the wrong dishes (also because my girlfriend had gotten very scared in the process). After 20 minutes, the same waiter who had treated us badly earlier comes to apologise and brings us a complimentary plate of fruit and 3 sweets. By now the evening was ruined, morale at a low and discontented, we paid, said a polite goodbye and left.

Andato ieri sera in questa locale, perché vicino all'hotel dove alloggiavo (Kenzi Rose Garden) per cenare. Appena entrati ci fanno accomodare gentilmente al tavolo. Fino qui tutto bene. Ordiniamo un Cheeseburger e una Fajita, più bevande. Attendiamo qualche minuto, e poi il disastro...tutti e due i piatti che ci portano sono sbagliati. Arrivano un panino al pollo e una tajine. Facciamo gentilmente subito presente che entrambi i piatti sono diversi da quelli ordinati e veniamo attaccati e trattati male perché si ostinavano a dire che quello che stessimo dicendo non fosse vero. Per la pace comune, facciamo finta di nulla e sconsolati ci facciamo andare bene i piatti sbagliati (anche perché la mia ragazza nel mentre si era spaventata molto). Dopo 20 minuti, lo stesso cameriere che prima ci aveva trattato male viene a scusarsi e ci porta un piatto di frutta e 3 dolcetti in omaggio.
