Came for dinner. Ordered a chicken stuffed with cheese, seafood tagliatelle and french toast. I didn’t try the chicken but my husband said it was good. The presentation was nice. Little hiccup- it came with french fries but the fries arrived 15 minutes after the chicken which was a little frustrating. The pasta has quite rich in flavour and quite big portion. But the seafood tasted like frozen, the calamari didn’t have any taste. When I was half way finishing my pasta a bug flew/ dropped down to my husband’s handkerchief which was quite disgusting so I lost my appetite and couldn’t finish my meal. My husband got rid of it immediately so we were not sure if it was cockroach or what. Half way the meal they started music indoor then it got quite loud and because of several smokers so we moved out to outdoor. It was a bit warm (only one ac was on and it was quite far away) but it was manageable. Got the home made french toast with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious! The breads were freshly and perfectly cooked. Crispy and good balance with sugar/ caramel. This I absolutely recommend! Ordered two beer (real, not alcohol free), one can of Schweppes lemon. The bill was 450dh. We feel totally worth the price.

Had a delicious array of tapas with my Amazigh friends and were served by a lovely and attentive Amazigh waiter. The live music was very good. We enjoyed a talented male singer/guitar player with a beautiful voice who started with the blues and moved from there to an eclectic set list of international music, rai, and Moroccan music. Great repertoire. I can highly recommend this place for smokers. Unfortunately, I had to take off a point because the amount of smoke for me as a nonsmoker was unbearable, and although there was a sliding door to the terrace right behind me, they wouldn't let me keep it open, presumably due to the noise. When I got home still in a cloud of cigarette stench, I had to strip at the door. To the owners: Please folks, make the smokers go outside to your terrace to smoke, not the nonsmokers to go outside to breathe. At a minimum, please install some extractors that work.

Good food let down by awful staff. The guard at the door did not allow me in because I was wearing sandals (30 degrees outside). He said if I changed the sandals “no problem”. So I wore my €150 trainers. Once at the door the bouncer said my espadrilles did not cut it while letting people people in wearing tacky T-shirts, shorts, sandals and cheap trainers. He talked to one of his manager who looked down at me and refused to let me in. I had to grab the female manager to finally be accepted having to justify I was European on a business trip? I’m glad I fought my way in because the food (Tanjia), drinks and serving staff were great. Very humiliating experience to being turned down on questionable criteria.

Our experience had it's easy and flows; while the food was quite good, the Tagine was a bit heavily spiced and contained a bit too many large bones making the tender morsels tougher to eat. Perhaps an accompanying starch would have better completed it. I admit that our impression was tainted from the start with it being very open aired and close to the street where we continued smelling auto exhaust after being seated, there is smoking allowed in the dining space, and someone proceeded to mop with a strongly adored product while patrons were already receiving drinks and food. Kudos to the chef as the dishes that we did have were good and we assume the cocktails would have also been. We could not stick around very long to enjoy more than two courses as it started getting quite cold out. Otherwise the eclectic vibe seemed irie and we see why some sing...
