Zushi Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

During my stay in marrakech my mom and I had become really ill we didnt have the energy to go out and have supper we were able find this place online relying on the reviews and also having the convenience of being able to communicate via WhatsApp to place an order which was positive! the girl who was texting me was so quick when it was time to place an order and take my money let me tell you😂 but when it came time to deliver quality that was quite the disappointment. The order was delivered to my apartment i was able to pay using my card I took my food upstairs and unpacked everything only to see that the food looked stale- i got a Thai mango salad, a sushi combo and 2 pieces of salmon nigiri this made me nervous as both my mom and I were already unwell. I messaged the number on WhatsApp and sent pictures of the food only to be told that no one complains and that this is the first time she was hearing such a thing. Rather than making things better she told me to bring the food back to get a refund at 1030pm in an unknown city being a female. I have no reason for dishonesty but ill attach the photo's you make the decision. Its a pretty expensive restaurant id say save your money go elsewhere quality is poor and customer service...

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. My husband and I went there expecting a pleasant dinner, but unfortunately, the service fell far below expectations. Despite there being only two other customers and what appeared to be a large staff both behind the counter and in the kitchen, we waited for over 30 minutes without receiving our food. It became clear that home delivery orders were prioritized over the customers dining in, which was highly frustrating.

My husband had to remind the staff to begin preparing our order, at which point they seemed surprised to learn that our meal hadn’t even started being prepared.

Additionally, the restaurant operates on a self-service model, similar to fast food chains, which is certainly not justified by the high prices they charge. The worst part was the presentation, food is served in cardboard boxes with no plates, cutlery, or glassware, which feels more suitable for a school cafeteria than a restaurant.

To top it off, the main courses were drenched in soy sauce and tasted quite poor, Plus the salad was literally an INSULT. 🤢

One of my favorite restaurants in Marrakech for Japanese and Thai. I like how the staff is professional and everything is super clean. The consistency is very important to me. I also order for delivery quite often and I appreciate how they consistently meet my expectations as the food is always well presented, extremely tasty and fresh, and exactly as I ordered it. They also never fail to include everything you need from chopsticks to utensils to the sauces in a practical presentation. Always arrive in excellent temperature. The warm food warm and the cold cold which is excellent. I order without worrying about bad surprised and I don’t take that for granted. Also they have great follow up, if you order online from their site they deliver free of charge to most addresses in the city and in excellent timing plus they keep you posted on your order via WhatsApp via email and via their app. Cannot ask for more.
