Imagine my dismay this morning when I'm 60% of the way through my breakfast (a quiche, from this deli) and come across a SMALL, BAKED COCKROACH. I'm not kidding. As someone who is afraid of cockroaches and afraid of getting sick, this is literally my worst nightmare handed to me on a plate. I tried to do the right thing and call the deli instead of writing this review but since they're not answering their calls this will have to do. I truly hope, for the sake of other innocent clients, that my little cockroach didn't have...

Would recommend this place to all visiting Swakopmund as the perfect place to try gelato and all different kinds of German Pastries and Cured meats.

There must also be a special praise for the main lady who was working the till on our visit the 25th of January, she was very intelligible with regards to all the products and was happy to speak to all customers in their preferred language, be it Afrikaans, Nama,...
