I attended the 71th Anniversary last day(14 Jun 2023) at the Hard Rock Cafe, I went there with two of my cousin brothers, with the expectation that hard rock cafe would really bang it on service and what they were offering on the occasion of their special event, but unfortunately, we waited for almost 50 mins, no servers tried to even ask for any orders, even after we ordered the offered mocktails at first to taste it, they weren't delivered to our table, we had patience and even waited if they would bring us the menu so that we would order smth, we weren't there just to have those two offered mocktails, virgin mojito and strawberry bla bla lemonade, we waited but didn't get it, so disappointed. Like bro, we weren't there to just get the things offered at a discount, we expected someone to get us the menu, we would pay and grab smth, right! Free ma khanu gaako jasto, i went there to see how it would be at their anniversary, but unmanaged service, the franchise is so big, they can't handle the crowd of people, can't handle the bulk offers, some young unexperienced staffs, they look for VIP's more and less for normal people, come on, it isn't that hard to afford the menu of hard rock, there are better bars and lounges with competitive prices but better service and most importantly respect to each customers, I experienced the worst ever day at a restaurant in KTM. Only a good ambience doesn't make it a cool place, your service, dedication towards the guests coming in matters a lot. It was the day to show your best service, a value to every customer. Only the name is so fascinating, besides, the service, the value they offer is only if someone is willing to throw money on their menu. We had the worst experience in Hard Rock Cafe. The pricing mechanism there is illegal and non compliance with Value Added Taxation Rules, 2074 and Internal Revenue Taxation. When we reminded them of it in the nicest way possible,the operation manager came off extremely rude and obnoxious. They admit they were doing wrong but asked us to pay false price nonetheless. Basically, they were extorting us with bouncer. They have no manner whatsoever how to treat their guest. One server/manager used profanity against a girl and threatened her to throw her from the building using bouncer. How can they threaten the female guests with violence and profanity? I had to call the police, police came upstairs and they managed the situation. It's sad to see obnoxious employees with no accountability ruining the name of prestigious multinational brand with utter disrespect to the Hard Rock Cafe. It's a no-go for us and advice the people who are looking to have good experience in Kathmandu do the same. There's plenty of nice place to have fun in the valley.
