Marinha Airport Hotel — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We stayed in this hotel’s room for 1 hour and was charged half of the total price. Receptionists never mentioned the room we choose to stay was recently painted, she mentioned underground rooms are under renovation so we decided to stay as we were in rush because my baby was sick. After staying in room for 30 minutes it started smelling paints and was still sticky in some part of room. I am still having sore throat from the smells after 8 hours.

My baby was sick and wanted to watch television which didn’t had any signals at all.

When we went to tell receptionist, who was very polite showing us room before, was all off sudden so rude instead of looking out for us for the effects we had from paints smell, she didn’t even notice our problems, even without saying anything she charged us half of the total price.

I will make sure to never go back to this place again and I will suggest same for others. Travelling with sick child is never easy and changing hotel after unpacking is difficult.

I had an extremely disappointing experience during my stay at Marina Airport Hotel Kathmandu. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your accommodation. The rooms were reminiscent of underground bomb shelters and were infested with mosquitoes. To make matters worse, the TV in my room was not functioning, and the room lock was faulty. Every time I left my room, I had to call the reception to unlock the door for me.

While the staff members were polite and made an effort to assist, it is essential to note that a pleasant staff alone cannot compensate for the inadequacies of the property itself. The operator of the hotel should address and resolve these issues promptly to ensure a satisfactory guest experience.

Excellent service and friendly staff hotel. Price is also affordable with free pickup, drop-off including complimentary breakfast. Help I get from the staff was beyond and above your expectations.
