Hotel Samrajya — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

The only advantage of this hotel is it's proximity to the airport, it is practically within walking distance. Everything else is very poor. Room tariff is too high against the quality and size of the room. Too noisy, no privacy. Restaurant closed during lunch time. No lift, dirty staircase. Smallest washroom I have ever found in any hotel. That too with broken taps, faulty cistern, loose commode seat. Complained to the front desk, nobody came to attend. AC working but unable to keep the room worm . I had to find out another good hotel, made full payment for one day and shift. Very very...

One of the loudest Hotels I have ever been! The room was perfect and the service also but when we where on the first floor and it was unbeliebable noisy from the kitchen until 11pm....horrible! I asked if it is possible to reduce the sounds but they told me that the kitchen will be closed soon. They also want to give me another room in the 4rd floor but my wife was still sleeping (oropax) and I don't want to wake her up. In the morning at 04:15 there where other quests which are speking all the time :-(! The first floor feels like a huge dorm room...

Great location (just outside airport gate and the holy temple Pasupatinath is less than 2km from the hotel), really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff and the MD of the hotel. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. The MD himself personally advised us with list of places to visit in our short trip. Last but not the least, they provide awesome food too.
