Read moreI visited this pub back in the year 2014 while I was spending my holidays in Nepal. jazz upstairs is located in Lajimpat. It has everything going for it- friendly vibe, very talented musicians and great food ! There's also a pool table and roof top area. Housed in a building across the French Embassy in Lazimpat, Jazz Upstairs is a stylish place to spend a lazy evening in Kathmandu. Food is brilliant here ! You can witness one of the best Jazz band from Nepal - Cadenza, who is known all over the world plays here twice a week. Best to go on Wednesday and Saturday to enjoy good food, chilled beer and the ultimate live music.
Jazz Upstairs is a very well worth visiting. Recommend chicken/buff momos, the best ever Alu Dum and Sherpa beer....

Chips Chilli was good, but aaloo sandheko lacked flavor.
Overall a nice place to drink and enjoy music. Not not the best...
